It's just that there were so many dystopians being published that the thoughtful ones got overlooked. I mean for a while there at least two dystopians per week were being published in that period after Hunger Games ended and the movies started and Divergent started to reign supreme. Everyone wanted that sweet dystopian money and as a result the YA section quickly became over-saturated with them. So I do get why people became burnt out on them quickly. I started to get sick of them and I love dystopians.
Now it's finally slowed down (John Green look alikes have become the it thing from what I can see) so the really good dystopians are finally able to get a chance to shine. fantasylover12001https://www.blogger.com/profile/01143467052003907228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3782055319383851617.post-19834083866177064162015-03-03T18:55:04.318-08:002015-03-03T18:55:04.318-08:00I think this genre has grown and we're now see...I think this genre has grown and we're now seeing more thoughtful examinations of post-apocalyptic scenarios. I thought this book was very good!

Kate @ Ex LibrisKate @ Ex Librishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16161681565485372950noreply@blogger.com
